Reduce heat losses at high operating temperatures
Pipes and equipment used in high-temperature applications can reach operating temperatures exceeding 100°C. Without suitable insulation, heat losses may occur throughout the system. Professionally installed insulation can help reduce heat transfer to the surrounding environment and the associated energy losses.
For these applications, NMC offers EPDM-based insulation solutions that, depending on the product, are designed for operating temperatures up to 175°C. The closed-cell insulation materials are flexible and developed to meet a variety of requirements in high-temperature environments.
For application-specific processing, the insulation materials are available as tubes, sheet materials and continuous-length formats.
