Processing

Our core expertise lies in the development, production, and international marketing of technical foams. Various technologies and manufacturing processes enable us to process raw materials and combine them according to specific product and application requirements.
Additional processing steps allow the properties and configurations of our products to be adapted to different requirements. A range of processing and finishing techniques is available during and after production to support these needs.
We work closely with our customers to tailor solutions to the respective technical and application-specific requirements.

Extrusion

Extrusion enables the production of technically complex foam profiles, sheets and rolls in both cross-linked and non-cross-linked versions according to standard or customer-specific specifications.
Different process and production steps can be coordinated. Depending on the application and product design, various densities, colours, customer-specific profiles and films are available.

Co-extrusion combines two or more compatible materials within a single production process. Foam profiles, for example, can be provided with an additional layer of non-foamed material or an additional coating. Depending on the material and design, specific properties, such as mechanical resistance or UV resistance, can be enhanced.

Laminating

Lamination enables the combination of different materials into multi-layer composite solutions. Depending on the material combination and application, properties such as strength, sound insulation, or surface characteristics can be adapted to specific requirements.

Possible configurations include foam-to-foam combinations, the lamination of semi-finished products, and the integration of films or other functional layers. Various material combinations and product designs are available depending on the application.

Thermoforming

Thermoforming is a manufacturing process in which foam materials are heated, shaped into the required form, and subsequently cut to form the finished product. The process offers a range of design possibilities and enables the production of application-specific shapes and three-dimensional components.

Conversion

ADHESIVE
Depending on the material and application, different adhesive systems can be used to join materials, for example through hot-melt adhesives or adhesive tapes. Depending on the design, permanent or removable bonds can be achieved, and adhesive systems can be selected for defined temperature ranges.

CUTTING
Extruded profiles, films and sheets can be further processed using additional mechanical methods such as cutting, milling or embossing. Depending on customer requirements, specific cuts can be made to adapt the flexibility or handling of the products to the respective application.
Foam profiles can also be partially cut to facilitate processing and handling and, depending on the application, reduce material offcuts.
