Reduce heat losses in solar thermal piping systems
Solar thermal systems use energy from the sun to provide heat. Proper insulation of the pipework plays an important role in transferring heat between solar collectors and thermal storage systems.
NMC insulation solutions can help reduce heat losses along the piping network. For outdoor applications, insulation materials are available that are designed for the weather and temperature conditions encountered in such environments.
Depending on the product, the insulation materials are suitable for operating temperatures up to 150°C and short-term temperatures up to 175°C. Solutions are also available with resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and specified mechanical stresses.
