Good air conditioning systems help us breathe more easily. They regulate the temperature, moisture and quality of indoor air. If that air is colder in the pipes than in the ambient environment, then uninsulated pipes release defrost water. This in turn causes damage by way of mould and corrosion. NMC insulation products made from elastomer foams offer preventive protection, because their low heat conductivity values give them very good thermal insulation properties. This means that defrost water is stopped before it can even occur. In addition, sustainable insulation significantly drives down energy consumption.
